How do peelers work?
First you
hold the carrot. Then you peel. Peelers peel skin off carrots. A peeler is made
of many parts called wedge, lever and blades. I like peelers because they are
sharp.

They have sharp blades and a plastic
handle. It has a wedge on top of it. It helps us to peel a potato. We need to
push the peeler to make it work. Some of the skin comes out. We are learning
how to use a potato peeler. We scrap yucky bit because we don’t want to eat the
